Disney--Day 5

We were back on our own today and we started our day off with a BANG!!! The kids had an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Cinderella's Castle. Reese put on her princess dress and they painted her nails, did her makeup and fixed her hair--she looked beautiful and had the time of her life. This boutique does a wonderful job of making these little girls feel special and like they are little princesses. Meanwhile, Collin got his hair fixed too! They gave him blue tips and highlights and a "Mickey" stamp in blue on the back of his head. Both of my little monkeys were so proud and had fun showing off their looks all day!
After getting made up, we hung out at the Magic Kingdom. We did many of "must-do's", rode the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Haunted Mansion and visited the Fairies of Pixie Hollow and the Princesses. While visiting the princess' Collin was ecstatic....but he was most excited to see Belle. Even Cinderella said, "he really wants to go see Belle", so it was very obvious who was his favorite. Reese had two favorites for the day, Tinkerbelle and Cinderella. She really enjoyed visiting the princesses and fairies on the day she had been made into a princess herself. After a long day at the Magic Kingdom, we headed back to the hotel and let the kids swim. The kids had a BLAST swimming and playing in the pools. After swimming and getting ready we headed to Chef Mickey's for dinner. This was our last character dinner of the week. We met up with The Devlin's for our last dinner and the kids all seemed tired and a little cranky. It had been such a BIG week for ALL of them. The characters took a long time to circulate throughout dinner and Minnie Mouse took FOREVER to arrive, but the kids wanted to see her so we waited. FINALLY she came, the kids were so excited, gave her hugs and got her autograph and Reese and Collin each got a kiss. Reese was in awe and told me, "I have lipstick on my cheek" and was thrilled about it. So funny!!
