We had "mistake" and potatoes (and broccoli)...

Sunday night we grilled out (or Jeff did) and had a yummy dinner. While eating, Collin said, "I ate all of my MISTAKE". Jeff and I thought that was so funny and anytime he talked about his dinner, he was using the term "mistake" instead of "steak". We tried to correct him, but not sure it sunk in.
On another note...I have been so sad because I have lost my new camera. So, now I really don't have a camera AT ALL!!! Can you imagine?? A mother without a camera??? I mean seriously. The last time I can remember having it was at a birthday party we went to last weekend. I went to get it out of my purse last night and realized it wasn't in there. I have looked EVERYWHERE, called EVERYONE and EVERY PLACE I have been, but cannot find it. So, hopefully my sweet husband will feel sorry for me and help me get a new one soon. I actually think he feels a little sorry for me after the stress and tears of the last day. I am really sick about it. The one small blessing is I had at least loaded MOST of the pictures onto my computer. There were a few on there, but nothing too significant.

Disney Photopass Pics

We got our Disney Photopass a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to share a couple of pictures. A Disney Photopass is a little card you carry with you while at Disney. They have photographers staged at different areas of the parks and at the Character "meet and greet" places. You give them your photopass card and they put the pictures taken of your child on your card. Then you can download ALL of them to a CD and edit them--then they mail you the CD. You can edit the pics to Black/White, crop, rotate, and add embellishments. I am so glad they had this, we ended up with over 300 pictures on our pass and got some really good ones!

I got a new car!

Well, a couple of weeks ago I got a new car and I am loving it! This was really only because I was so upside down in my other car that we really had no other option. We made the BIG mistake of leasing my Expedition. We were already 20,000 miles over our "allowed" mileage and we had a year left on our lease. We felt it was best for us to eat the money now than to wait until later. We will never lease a car again, for us, it just does not make sense.
We felt like with all of the dealer incentives and the market being the way it is, at least we might get a good deal on a new car--and we did!!! I LOVE, LOVE my new car. I got a Chevrolet Traverse (they just came out in October). It has 3 rows with captains chairs in the 2nd row and a bench as the 3rd row--it is a "crossover" SUV--I think that is what you call it :) The car is really big and drives so smoothly. It is slightly longer than a Tahoe, but has better fuel economy. Anyways, I am promising Jeff I will drive this car for a LONG WHILE, so I am trying to take very good care of it!!! By the way, mine is black (not silver) but this is the only picture I could get to upload to my computer.

Slacker!

I know I have been a slacker about updating the blog, but the truth is, we haven't done anything all that remarkable and my camera has officially bit the dust (from when I threw it at Thanksgiving when the spider was on me). It had been struggling since I threw it, but it absolutely will not work in any capacity now. Jeff got me a new video/camera for Christmas, but I would prefer to use it primarily as a video camera. The still shots are fine, but not the greatest quality. The video feature is awesome and the size of the camera is TINY. It is so convenient to have a tiny video camera that fits in my purse and is so easy to use---I love it and have been using it way more than my old video camera, just because it is so convenient! Hope everyone is having a GREAT start to the new year!!!!
