Disney--Day 4

Today we visited Animal Kingdom. We started our day at Donald's Safari Breakfast--this was another character meal that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Characters were the highlight of our trip, so the kids couldn't get enough of them! Plus, Reese and Collin each had autograph books that all of the characters would sign and they were really excited to get the autographs--I will go back and add a picture of each character with the kids--next to the autograph. After breakfast, we went on a safarti and then the kids got their faces painted and they looked AMAZING-what talent these people have!! We then headed to DINOLAND and rode a few rides. After that, we went to watch Festival of the Lion King--which was a FANTASTIC show! Each of the kids were chosen to participate in the show and reluctantly did so. The whole family LOVED the show and glad we made the effort to go see it. We had to haul our booties across the park and line up, we were afraid we wouldn't make it in time, but WE DID and it was worth the SPRINT across the park! Since we were up late the evening before, we left the park around 3 and let the kids have the afternoon away from the parks. After a short nap/rest, my mom and Fermin graciously agreed to watch all the kids and let us go out to eat and enjoy a little adult time. Jeff, Brian, Amy and myself were all too tired to stay out long, but we enjoyed a kid-free dinner and then headed home to prepare for Day 5.
