Day 3 was one of our favorite and most fun days--we were on our own and we had a full schedule of things TO DO!!!! We headed to Hollywood Studios for breakfast with the The Little Einstein's and Jojo/Goliath. The kids ate it up....Reese was THRILLED to see June and bless Collin's little heart....he couldn't pick a favorite....just too exciting to meet all of these fun people. After breakfast, the park had not yet opened, so we had a head start on the crowds heading to the Buzz Lightyear ride that was a favorite ride of all of us. We rode that and had no wait AND we got a fast pass to ride it again (which is key for a popular ride like this). After the Buzz ride, we went to see Voyage of the Little Mermaid, then to meet Buzz and Woody then to see Playhouse Disney's show....then to see Beauty and the Beast....and one more turn on the Buzz Lightyear ride. WHEW!!!! We did all of this before 12:30--then we headed home to rest because we had a big night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
After napping, we got ready and headed to the party. We rode a couple rides, saw Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and then watched the Christmas parade. In between festivities, we had cookies and hot cocoa and bought some light-up necklaces, swords and toys to play with. The highlight of the parade was when Collin saw Goofy dressed up as Santa....he giggled and laughed out loud for a really long time....he was so excited and it was truly a magical moment. For Reese, her favorite moment were all the Princess' were on one float dressed in their holiday best, they were smiling, waving and blowing kisses....pretty DREAMY for a little girl who wants to be a "princess when she grows up". We had to wait for the parade for a long while, since we wanted good seats, I almost gave up and decided to take the kids home....it was late, we were cold and tired and the kids were fighting....as soon as the parade started I was so glad we didn't leave....the kids LOVED every second of it and it was worth the 3o minutes of H-E-double hockey sticks....to hear the excitement in their voices and see the joy on their little faces throughout the entire parade.
