Five years ago I met Jeff and we KNEW from very early on in our relationship that we were meant to be together. I never dreamed I would find such an amazing person to spend my life with. A year and a half later we were shocked to find out we were pregnant with TWINS!!!! What a blessing--we were so excited! I always wanted to have babies and be able to stay home with them. We have definitely sacrificed to make this happen, but we would not change it for the world. I feel so blessed to be able to enjoy my kiddos and have so much time with them while they are little.
Plano had its annual balloon festival (hot-air ballons) this last weekend, so we decided to go Sunday morning. We went with The Devlin's, and Amy and Brian scoped out an awesome place for us to watch--AND it was free!!! The balloons normally lift off around 7:00AM, so we decided to get donuts, chocolate milk and set up blankets and chairs for the kids. We met at Dunkin' Donuts at 5:45AM, are we crazy??? I am serious. It was so worth it. The kids had a blast and the balloons came directly over us as they were about to land. Collin's favorite balloon was the dinosaur and Reese's was the flower. We had a great time!
how cool. Of course we went last year and the balloons could not take off due to the wind. We had so much going on this weekend we could not go. I am sure Jeff did not complain about getting up early, it was like he was going hunting :)
You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.... but let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you.
