Last night, Nana took Reese, Collin and Brant to see Mary Poppins. Amy and I went as well, but the kids were Nana's treat! The kids loved the show...you should have heard them telling Daddy about it...you could hear the excitement in their little voices. Colln said his favorite part was "Steppy Time" (HA!) and when Mary Poppins flew off the stage into the sky. Reese said her favorite part was when Mary Poppins & Bert danced together AND when Mary Poppins sang "A Spoonful of Sugar"--the show was so good. It was awesome to watch the excitement on the kids faces when they saw their favorite characters (Mary Poppins, Bert, Michael & Jane) and to hear them sing along with the songs and music. Mary Poppins is Reese & Collin's favorite movie, so this was quite the treat!
After the show, we went and met Apa' at Chili's. We got home at midnight--very, very late for my kiddos--they have NEVER been up this late. Little angels were tuckered out. Reese said this morning, "it was so fun staying up REALLY, REALLY late".
