We went trick-or-treating tonight and the kids got TONS of candy--most will have to be thrown out (shhhhhhh don't tell). We met up, out front, with several of our neighbors--Ashley, Caleb, Ethan, Kelsey & Kaylee AND Jack. The whole gang, parents and all, which is ALOT of us went door to door for a couple of blocks and then headed home to hand out candy. We are so blessed to live on a street with so many children--it makes the holidays a ton o' fun.

Halloween Party
Gracie (a little girl in Collin's class) invited all classmates over for a little Halloween party. The kids did a little craft, made a cute cookie pumpkin for a snack and played together in the playroom and outside. It was nice to get together with the other moms and chat outside of school. Reese was initially disappointed when I told her she was going to dance and not the party, but she recovered quickly when she found out Aunt Amy was picking her up and she got to ride in HER car....very exciting stuff. Wanted to include a picture of Reese in her festive dance attire.

Road Trip to Fossil Rim
ROAD TRIP!!!!!
Giraffe walking over to get some foodFeeding the giraffe
Can you believe how beautiful this zebra is?
More beautiful animals
Oh My Goodness, if you have kids who loves animals, this is a MUST DO!!!! Coco and Papa invited us to take a little road trip to Glen Rose (which is where Fossil Rim is). It was an absolutely PERFECT day and the animals were amazing. The animals were sticking their heads in the car and the kids could see them so well. They were able to feed them and see such detail of all the animals. What a fun day!!!

MOPS Fall Festival
Amy is a member of MOPS in Frisco. They were having a fall festival (Saturday), so she invited us! The kids had a great time riding the train, playing games, "Trunk - or - Treating" and were so proud to get their faces painted! I am so glad we are getting lots of use out of our costumes--Monday they will wear them to gymnastics.

Halloween Costume Day at Dance
Today, Reese's dance class got to wear their Halloween costumes. They all looked so cute! I felt sorry for Collin because I figured he would want to wear his costume. There actually wasn't much controversy, but still tried to talk up his batman shirt and mask. I had to include him in the "halloween" fun.

Muffins with Mom
This morning was Muffins with Mom--and the kids were so excited! I always love this, but was a little nervous because this is the first time I have had to split time between two classrooms. I decided I wanted to spend all of the time with BOTH of them, so I took Reese with me to Collin's room and then took Collin to Reese's room. I would have hated for one of them to be sitting there wondering where I was, so I thought this would be best. Their teachers are amazing, they both made the sweetest crafts/placements, tables were decorated with pumpkins the kids had painted, and they had filled out little sheets describing "Mommy". I have to share a little of what each one of them said.
Collin:
My Mom looks prettiest when: she goes to school.
My Mom cooks the best: muffins--I like to eat more muffins--all the muffins!
My Mom has the most beautiful: hands.
I love it when Mom: works with me.
Reese:
My Mom loves me beacuse: she loves me!
My Mom cooks the best: all of it! Everything she cooks are my favorites.
My Mom has the most beautiful: hair.
I love it when my Mom: plays with me.
